Columbus Inn Fort Benning

Nothing it was dirty and very unkept.

I was very displeased with Columbus Inn I would not stay again or recommend it.

After reading some reviews online I was a little concerned and thought about changing reservations but it was what it was. A very inexpensive room for the evening. Amenities where few but the room though a little outdated was clean and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Nothing It met my needs.

There was nothing good.

The non-smoking room smelled like smoke, the tv did not work. When moved to another room, musty smell and air unit didn't cool the room within 2 hrs. When talking to "owner" was told they would not refund my money so I could take grandbaby to another hotel. Found out that I was overcharged by Booked.net by $20 from the rate that is normally charged and would not be refunded. Unhappy!!!

The hotel staff was courteous and accomodating. The room and bedding were clean.

The facility was not well maintained, my reservation was not in the system ( I brought the printout from the time I booked), the breakfast offered was only a choice of a muffin or cereal bar.

When I got there I asked for towels and never received them. There were blood stains on the blankets and cockroaches! Would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff was kind and there was a roaming security guard which made me feel more comfortable parking my u-haul.

The rooms smelled; one of old smoke, one of mold. The carpets and furniture were old, abused and stained, and the same could be said for the bathroom. I felt like wearing sandals in the room was probably the best way to go without a penicillin shot. I've stayed in some pretty cheap places including $30/ night Microtels that were cleaner and better maintained. Also, I paid for rooms that advertised fridges and microwaves. Only one of the two rooms had it. I was disappointed, considering I had gotten food to go thinking I could keep it in my room.

I suppose for the money it was a good deal. She had cancelled our room because we hadnt checked in yet and that was aggravating but it took that long to get there and I knew we were only going to be able to use the room a few hours for that night...we were in town for basic training graduation from ar.

The place was filthy, unkept, the door would not close and lock. I did not stay after checking in I payed for the night and left. Stayednsome where else. Would not recommend to anyone.

Air conditioning

The sink and carpet was filthy. The mold on front wall floor panel the noise the rowdy guests the flickering light in bath room the door that would giggle even after locking, other than that it was cheap.

The staff was kind and helpful, probably about the best part of the stay. The room was fairly clean considering the age of the place.

This is an older motel and it shows. Plumbing fixtures were old and was really noisy. There was a slight musty smell upon first entering the room. The location of this place kind of gave you an uneasy feeling. Not really the nicest part of town. Although it was close to our destination of Fort Benning.
